Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler having air bleeding structure, with an air bleeding member arranged in an EGR cooler body without being interfered with external components. SOLUTION: In the EGR cooler, a tube assembly is arranged inside of a shell in a manner that both ends of many gas side tubes as EGR gas passages are retained by a plurality of partitioning plates and supported at intervals between the gas side tubes and also cooling water is led to flow to the outer surface sides of the gas side tubes by partitioning the inside of the shell, thereby an EGR gas temperature is lowered by cooling from the outer surfaces of the gas side tubes by cooling water led to flow into the inside of the shell. An opening at one end of the air bleeding member is formed in the uppermost part of a gas phase part generated on the inner side of the tube assembly provided inside of the shell, and an opening at the other end of the air bleeding member is formed in a cooling water outlet pipe, thereby gas stored in the gas phase part in the shell is delivered to the cooling water outlet pipe side through the air bleeding member.
