Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device exchanging method in which a base isolated condition of base-isolated locations is maintained even if an earthquake occurs during exchange work of base isolation devices set in a building, and risks occurring during the exchange work, such as fall of a column caused by slipout of a jack-up device, can be avoided. SOLUTION: According to the base isolation device exchanging method, by interposing a stainless steel plate 14 as a sliding member between the jack-up device 9 set in the vicinity of each base isolation device 1 and a lower structure 3, an upper structure 4 can be lifted while the base isolated condition is maintained by a base isolation action of the stainless steel plate 14, and a gap is secured between the base isolation device 1 and the upper structure 4, to thereby exchange the base isolation device 1.
