POLYOLEFIN-BASED RESIN FOAMED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin based resin foamed body capable of suppressing deformation at foaming and enhancing a mechanical physical property such as hardness and a shrinkage rate. SOLUTION: The polyolefin-based resin foamed body is obtained by kneading, heating and compressing a polyolefin based resin composition containing a silane-grafted polyolefin, a foaming agent decomposed by heating to produce a foamed gas and water, and a water absorbent. A melting temperature of the silane-grafted polyolefin is preferably lower than a decomposition temperature of the foaming agent. Further, the foaming agent is preferably sodium hydrogencarbonate, and its content is preferably 10-20 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the silane-grafted polyolefin. The content of the water absorbent is desirably 3-10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the silane-grafted polyolefin. The foamed body after the heating/compression is formed to a thick plate-like shape of 10-70 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
