MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by establishing a network for detecting an abnormal state from photographed video and notifying an appropriate organization, device and person of the abnormal state with little equipment investment by effectively utilizing an imaging apparatus existing in an range. SOLUTION: This monitoring system has a means for performing image processing of video photographed by one or a plurality of movable photographing apparatuses existing around a monitoring target, a means for detecting the occurrence an abnormal state of the monitoring target and a means for notifying a prescribed security company, device and person, or the like of the occurrence of the abnormal stat. Further, the monitoring system has a means for changing photographing ranges of each of photographing devices in accordance with the number and positions of the imaging apparatuses existing around the monitoring target.
