Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of improving conversion efficiency and a reliability characteristic. SOLUTION: In this dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element provided with an electrolyte-containing body 30 along with a photoelectrode 10 and an opposite electrode 20, a dye 14 is supported to a metal oxide semiconductor layer 12 of the photoelectrode 10. The dye 14 contains a complex dye having a center element, a ligand having a cyclopentadiene ring, and a ligand having a chelate structure.
