Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to take appropriate measures when a high-voltage battery is dead in a camera system where a plurality of batteries having different voltages can be used. SOLUTION: When the plurality of batteries having the different voltages is loaded, power supply is performed by the high-voltage battery B2. When the remaining capacity of the high-voltage battery is below an allowable level, the power supply is stopped regardless of the remaining capacity of other battery. Alternatively, when the remaining capacity of the high-voltage battery is below the allowable level, the high-voltage battery is switched to a low-voltage battery B2 so as to continue the power supply, and then the user is informed of a camera function (for example, high-speed consecutive photography) which can not be performed with the low-voltage battery.
