METHOD OF CORRECTING COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE, AND COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting a color filter substrate by which a corrected pixel is hardly visualized as minute defects by suppressing light leakage in the corrected pixel. SOLUTION: A part of a mixed color layer 23 between adjoining pixels 10a,10b where color mixing inferiority is produced is made remaining in the pixels 10a,10b while adjoining at least a BM21a between the BM21a which is held between the pixels 10a,10b and a BM21b which faces the BM21a and only one side edge of which adjoins the pixels 10a,10b. Further an opening 25 is formed in the mixed color layer 23 on respective pixels 10a,10b so that width W1 of a mixed color layer 23a made remaining in the pixels 10a,10b while adjoining the BM21a and width W2 of a mixed color layer 23b made remaining in the pixels 10a,10b while adjoining the BM21b satisfy relations: W1>W2 and W2≥0.
