Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle brake disc to be fastened at its sliding portion with a bolt, suppressing chipping or cracking of a brake lining while securing the strength reliability of the fastening bolt. SOLUTION: The railroad vehicle brake disc 1 is fastened at its sliding portion 1b to a wheel 2 or a disc body mounted on an axle with the bolt. A fastening hole 1bb of the sliding portion 1b consists of a vertical hole 1bbb provided ranging from the opposite side to a sliding face 1ba of the sliding portion 1b into the sliding portion 1b, and a horizontal hole 1bbd provided in the sliding portion 1b in communication with the vertical hole 1bbb. The vertical hole 1bbb has an inner diameter large enough for a screw shaft portion of the fastening bolt 3 to pass therethrough but for a head portion not to pass therethrough. The horizontal hole 1bbd is large enough for the head portion of the fastening bolt 3 to be inserted thereinto, and it is opened to the opposite side to the sliding face 1ba. As a result, the brake disc 1 has stable friction property for suppressing chipping or cracking of the brake lining while securing the strength reliability of the fastening bolt.
