VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure connecting a side member 5 and a dash panel 3 in a reinforced manner in a relaxed state of peeling force applied to a joint portion by an input from a vehicle body side. SOLUTION: A front and rear surface 11a of a reinforcement 11 is jointed to a front and rear surface 8a of a brace 8 by welding. An end face 11b of the reinforcement 11 is overlapped and joined with an end face 8b of the brace 8 by welding. An extension plate part 11c extended to a front surface 3a side of the dash panel 3 is joined to the front surface 3a of the dash panel 3 by welding. The brace 8 and the dash panel 3 are made a connected state via the reinforcement 11. Stress concentration to a joining part of the front surface 3a of the dash panel 3 is relaxed in relation to the input from the side member 5 side to the brace 8, and the peeling force applied to the joining part with the front surface 3a is relaxed.
