Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip scattering prevention tool which can collect chips falling on a rear side of a workpiece, that is on an opposite side of a drill, is simply and inexpensively set up, and facilitates setting/removal thereof when it is used. SOLUTION: The chip scattering prevention tool 100 has an adhering means for adhering to a surface of the workpiece 101, and a container for preventing chips from scattering. An internal surface of the container exerts heat resistance or has a heat resistant layer arranged thereon, for preventing the internal surface from melting due to the heat of the chips, and has a foldable structure for compact storage thereof. Further the chip scattering prevention tool makes the adhering means and the container separable from each other, and has a mounting portion for a hinge or the like for attaching/detaching the container to/from the adhering means.
