Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging apparatus with which a forged product discharged to the upper part in a die with a knock-out pin can surely be discharged from the die. SOLUTION: The forging apparatus 1 is provided with the knock-out pin 8 and a knock-out pin holding means 20. The knock-out pin 8 is ascended from a bottom dead center position with a force of a slide-driving source 5 for driving the slide 4 and also, the forged product S1 in the die 2 is discharged to this upper part from the die 2 by ascending from the bottom dead center position to a top dead center position.
