Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate image condition of an ultrasonic image transmitted and received via a network. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 100, each frame of image data of an ultrasonic image is segmented into a plurality of packets, transmitted via a network 300, and a receiving section 202 of an image processor 200 receives a plurality of packets. When the plurality of packets are received in series, a decoding section 204 decodes the plurality of packets of each frame. Information regarding the decoding operation of the decoding section 204 is then output to an image evaluating section 208. On the basis of the information, the image evaluating section 208 counts the number of effective packets B, which shows the number of packets restored properly by the decoding section 204, for each frame. In addition, the image evaluating section 208 subtracts the number of effective packets B of a frame from the number of packets A of the frame to calculate the number of packet loss for each frame.
