DETERGENT FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent feeder capable of accurately feeding detergent. SOLUTION: The detergent feeder 1 is designed to measure the liquid detergent stored in each of detergent tanks 2a to 2c for cleaning milking machines, with each of the detergent cylinders 3a to 3c and feed the detergent. The feeder is equipped with a detergent sensor installed in each of the detergent tanks 2a to 2c for outputting a detected signal-changing physical quantities according to the kind of detergent stored in each of the detergent tanks 2a to 2c; a memory for storing the criterion range for the physical quantities of the detected signal, output from the detergent sensor for the detergent of the prescribed kind to be stored in the detergent tanks 2a to 2c; a control part 6 for calculating the physical quantities of the detected signal output from the detergent sensor, when the detergent is stored in the detergent tanks 2a to 2c, and simultaneously comparing the calculated physical quantities with the reference range and determining whether the stored detergent is the detergent of the prescribed kind; and a display part 8 for displaying the results of the determining by the control part 6.
