PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker in which it can be recognized easily from the outside that it is the circuit breaker inhibited from being operated, a desired operating state in an ordinary state can be recognized, and improving of a handle operation can be carried out surely although operation in order to make it to be a handle operation suppression state is easy. SOLUTION: The gripping part of the circuit breaker in which by acting from an opening hole 102 installed at a casing constituting the outer shell of the circuit breaker 1 to a contact switching mechanism of the circuit breaker, the gripping part 104 of an operation handle member 103 to open or close a circuit is constituted so as to be protruded is removably constituted with the operation handle member, and in the open circuit state or the close circuit state of the circuit breaker, after the griping part is removed from the operation handle member, at the opening hole, a hole stopping member to stop the opening hole in which display of operation improving is carried out is installed, and a housing part 105 to house the removed gripping part is installed at the casing.
