BACKUP MANAGEMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To back up large capacity data quickly by a backup processor, using only the memory of limited capacity. SOLUTION: The backup processor 1 reads out data for referring to directory entry of the data to be backed up from a memory card 2, and stores it in a memory 15. A backup management part 11 decides a write-in start sector for a CD-R 3 of the data to be backed up by referring to the memory 15, and stores it in the memory 15. Then, the device writes a directory record in the CD-R 3, while the file body information is read from a memory card 2, and write-in for the CD-R is carried out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
