TAPE FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feeder capable of effectively preventing positional displacement in the cross direction of a top tape that is peeled off from the base tape. SOLUTION: The tape feeder pitch-feeds a carrier tape holding an electronic component to feed an electronic component to a place for pickup by a loading head. In the tape feeder, extending sections 41a and 42a, as a first guide member and a second guide member for regulating the positional displacement in the cross direction of the top tape 15a, are formed on a first roller 34 and a second roller 33 holding and supplying the top tape 15a made to peel from the carrier tape in front of the place for pickup. An opening section G that is not covered by the extending sections 41a and 42a is configured so as to be formed on the side face of a space S, formed at a place for engagement in the state separating the second roller 33 from the first roller 34; and the top tape 15a can be pinched into the space S via the opening section G.
