SOLUTION: A plurality of operation parameters are acquired from a tested engine. The plurality of operation parameter acquired data are analyzed with experimental design including Taguchi method, and are arranged in an order of degree of change of occurrence frequency of knocking and easiness of reduction of knocking. Knocking confirmation operation with the actual engine is performed in the order of the operation parameters based on the analysis results.
