ENGINE WITH LEARNING FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING OPERATION PARAMETER THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine and a method for establishing operation parameters thereof enabling execution of a prevention measure against knocking by using a lot of operation parameters and acquiring causes of knocking before operation of an actual machine (actual engine), improving operating ratio of the engine by making engine stop for preventing knocking unnecessary, and enabling prevention of knocking without accompanied by drop of thermal efficiency of the engine. SOLUTION: A plurality of operation parameters are acquired from a tested engine. The plurality of operation parameter acquired data are analyzed with experimental design including Taguchi method, and are arranged in an order of degree of change of occurrence frequency of knocking and easiness of reduction of knocking. Knocking confirmation operation with the actual engine is performed in the order of the operation parameters based on the analysis results. Knocking preventing operation parameters fitting to the actual engine are selected from the operation parameter based on the analysis results. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
