DEVICE FOR PREVENTING ONE'S FINGERTIP FROM GETTING CAUGHT IN DOOR AND DOOR STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of preventing one's fingertip from getting caught in a door and its door structure for which workability can be enhanced without causing any decrease in strength or designing effort. SOLUTION: A door structure 10 comprises a door jamb 14 installed to a door opening 12, a door 18 supported to the door jamb 14 with supporting fittings 16 in a freely opening and closing manner, and a device 20 for preventing one's fingertip from getting caught in a gap S which occurs between the door jamb 14 and the door 18 when opening the door 18. The device 20 for preventing one's fingertip from getting caught comprises a board-shaped presser face member 38 installed to the front surface of the door 18 via installing members 40, 50 and 52 as well as a cover member 34 placed in a freely slidable manner in a housing gap 36 with another end portion in a width direction secured between a surface of the door 18 and the presser face member 38.
