Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a styrene-based resin foam sheet, remarkably reduced in weight, compared with conventional sheets and producing a styrene-based resin foam sheet having good secondary formability and excellent also in strength and appearance. SOLUTION: The method for producing the styrene-based resin foam sheet comprises adding 0.005-0.8 mass% at least either one selected from epoxidized soybean oil and epoxidized linseed oil and 0-0.5 mass% higher fatty acid metal salt to a resin composition containing a styrene-methacrylic acid copolymer having 0.2-4.0 mass% methacrylic acid unit content, heat-melting the mixture and extruding the melted material.
