Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur-coated fertilizer wherein the elution of a fertilizer component can be controlled, the coat strength is excellent, and the membrane hull after the end of elution is decomposed by microbes and does not remain in soil, and thus the fertilizer exhibits excellent biodegradability, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: Modified sulfur prepared by completely dissolving sulfur and a sulfur-modifier in each other at 120-160°C and kept in a molten state is sprayed as a covering material on fertilizer particles and cooled, to form a modified sulfur coat with a thickness of 10-300 μm on the surface of the fertilizer particles, thus producing a coated fertilizer wherein the elution of a fertilizer component can be controlled.
