Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic welder where contact resistance of a product can be directly measured without depending on an alternative characteristic, the welded state is decided in a short period of time with high precision on the basis of the contact resistance, and the decided result can be fed-back to a vibration control part. SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic welder 1, the two materials to be welded are inserted between a horn 30 and an anvil 20 giving ultrasonic vibration so as to be pressurized, and ultrasonic vibration is applied parallelly to the contact face between the materials to be welded so as to solid phase-weld them, the welder is provided with a controller 60 comprising: a vibration control part 70; and a welding inspection part 80. The welding inspection part 80 is provided with: a voltage application part 82 applying voltage between the horn 30 and the anvil 20; a voltmeter 83 measuring the voltage applied between the horn 30 and the anvil 20; an ammeter 84 measuring the electric current flowing between the horn 30 and the anvil 20; and an electric current measurement circuit 81 calculating contact resistance from the respective measured values in the voltmeter 83 and the ammeter 84 and deciding the welded state.
