Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of moire in a thinned-out image signal. SOLUTION: The imaging device has pixels 26 which are arranged in a matrix shape. The pixels 26 are covered with color filters in accordance with a Bayer's system. Pixel signals are output from the pixels 26 in first, second, fifth, sixth, ninth and tenth rows. Pixel signals R1, R5 in the first column of the first and fifth rows ((1, 1), (5, 1)), pixel signals R5, R9 in the (5, 1), (9, 1) are averaged to generate averaged pixel signals R1' and R3'. Pixel signals B2, B6 in the (2, 2), (6, 2) and pixel signals B6, B10 in the (6, 2), (10, 2) are averaged to generate averaged pixel signals B2' and B4'. Pixel signals G1, G2 in the (1, 2), (2, 1), pixel signals G2, G5 in the (2, 1), (5, 2), pixel signals G6, G9 in the (6, 1), (9, 2), and pixel signals G9, G10 in the (9, 2), (10, 1) are averaged to generate averaged pixel signals G1', G2', G3' and G4'.
