MANUFACTURING METHOD OF INSULATION DISPLACEMENT JOINT CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a compact insulation displacement joint connector in which a cable can be cut in a limited cutting space. SOLUTION: In the insulation displacement joint connector, a plurality of insulation displacement terminals and a plurality of cables 9 are fixed in parallel on both ends of a housing and the cables 9 are cut by using a cutting jig 20 having cutting blades 22 composed of fixed blades 23 having shaft holes 24 and fixed grooves 25 and movable blades 26 which have movable concave grooves 27 and are inserted into the shaft holes 24 in a free rotation. Namely, in a cutting space 10 between the insulation displacement terminals, a predetermined cable 9 is inserted over the fixed groove 25 and the movable groove 27 of the cutting blade 22, and the movable blade 26 is rotated to cut the cable 9 and a bifurcating circuit is formed.
