PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately link a position on a printed document and a position on an electronic document. SOLUTION: In an image forming device 30, a communication part 31 receives a print instruction of a first electronic document, a document image generation part 32 generates a document image thereof, a code image generation part 33 generates a code image expressing identification information or the like of a medium, an image composition part 34 generates a composite image from the document image and the code image, a print control part 35 controls printing thereof, and a printing part 36 prints the composite image on the medium. When the printing is completed, a document management part 37 generates a second electronic document wherein a page of the first electronic document is laid out according to layout during printing, stores it in a document storage part 38a, associates the identification information of the medium, identification information and the page of the first electronic document, and identification information of the second electronic document with one another, and stores them in a management information storage part 38b.
