INTERNAL LIGHTING TYPE DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal lighting type display unit capable of eliminating an indication defect due to partial absence of an indication of characters, symbols, etc., caused by the brownout of an LED. SOLUTION: In the internal lighting type display unit comprising a light-transmissive indication plate such as an acrylic resin plate installed in a window of a box body and a group of LEDs installed longitudinally and laterally as an illumination circuit on a substrate in the box body, the illumination circuit is constituted by arraying a plurality of wirings, to which a plurality of LEDs are connected in series, in parallel, and LEDs 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, and 5f included in the same wiring are arranged dispersedly at respective places on the substrate. Even if an LED included in a specified wiring is made in the brownout, a function as a back light of the indication is not impaired. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
