Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of color filter capable of securing flatness of a pixel without changing manufacturing conditions of ink property or the like even when changing a kind of a color filter with respect to the manufacturing method of color filter in which a recessed part surrounded by partition members is formed on a substrate and an ink is applied to the recessed part by an inkjet method and is dried to form a colored ink layer. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of color filter is characterized in that the colored ink layer is formed is preliminarily formed in prescribed manufacturing conditions, a volume Vo of a prescribed recessed part ensuring the flatness of a shape of the ink after drying is determined and the partition member is formed by setting a height (t) of the partition member for the surface S of an opening part of the color filter to be manufactured such that a volume of the recessed part becomes the prescribed volume Vo.
