TRANSMISSION OPERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact transmission operating device which surely transmits drive force of a motor to a shaft while improving the degree of freedom in arrangement of the motor. SOLUTION: The transmission operating device including: a first output rod 18; a second output rod 52; a select drive means for rotating the first output rod 18 about its axis; and a shift drive means for rotating the second output rod 52 about its axis, is attached to a transmission for use. The transmission operating device includes a select operation transmitting mechanism keeping a rod engagement portion connected to the first output rod 18 and a shaft engagement portion engaged with the shaft 4 installed between the first output rod 18 and a shaft 4. In the select operation transmitting mechanism, the rod engagement portion moves in the axial direction of the first output rod 18 when the first output rod 18 rotates, and the shaft engagement portion moves in the axial direction of the shaft 4 when the rod engagement portion moves in the axial direction, thereby axially displacing the shaft 4.
