Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more efficiently/economically producing an iminotris(dimethylamino)phosphorane which is a compound extremely important and useful as a synthetic intermediate for phosphazene compounds and phosphazenium compounds. SOLUTION: The production method comprises: (A) a step to react phosphorus trichloride with dimethylamine in the presence of a solvent; (B) a step to remove dimethylamine hydrochloride by-produced by the step A; (C) a step to react tris(dimethylamino)phosphine in the solution obtained by the step B with chlorine; (D) a step to react chlorotris(dimethylamino)phosphonium chloride in the reaction liquid of the step C with ammonia; (E) a step to react the aminotris(dimethylamino)phosphonium chloride in the reaction liquid of the step D with an alkali metal hydroxide and remove the water/solvent from the product; and (F) a step to separate the iminotris(dimethylamino)phosphorane from the reaction liquid slurry obtained by the step E.
