PROTECTOR FOR CONVEYANCE OF DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for the conveyance of a display unit, which can be used a plurality of times, and which facilitates the positioning and fixation of the display unit. SOLUTION: This protector 1 for the conveyance of the display unit is made of a thermoplastic resin with a hollow double-walled structure. The protector 1 is provided with a bottom wall 2 and a peripheral wall 3 which is formed on the outer periphery of the bottom wall 2. A plurality of ribs 4, which are integrally formed by being partially welded to one another, are formed on inner and outer surface walls which constitute the bottom wall 2. A reinforcing material is arranged by providing a recessed groove portion, the bottom surface of which is welded to the inner wall surface in such a manner that the outer surface wall is depressed to the side of the inner surface wall. A plurality of through-holes are provided in respective corresponding positions on the bottom surface of the recessed groove portion 5 and the reinforcing material. The through-holes partially serve as fixing holes 8 for fixing the bottom surface of the recessed groove portion 5 and the reinforcing material, and the other through-holes serve as mounting holes 10 for mounting the display unit on the bottom wall of the protector.
