CONTINUOUS INKJET PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous inkjet printer which improves print quality by using surplus ink particles between printing intervals. SOLUTION: The continuous inkjet printer 1 has an ink particles generation means 50 to continuously jet ink particles, a charging means 54 to electrify jet ink particles, a deflection means 55 to deflect the electrified ink particles and form a prescribed dot matrix pattern G on the printed surface of a relatively moving object to be printed. A thinning-out number computing means 10 to computer the number of usable thinned-out ink particles and a thinned-out particle appropriation means 11 to appropriate the number of thinned-out ink particles computed by the thinning-out number computing means 10 to the front position or the rear position of ink particles for impaction on the basis of the jetting period of ink particles, the printing interval for every row, and a relative movement speed of the object to be printed.
