METHOD FOR PRODUCING FEED COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a feed composition improved in rumen bypass properties of bioactive substance, reduced in elution into water, allowed to be coated with highly nutritious raw material, having highly digestive properties and absorption in the abomasum of a ruminant such as a cow, and more inexpensive than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The method for producing a feed composition comprises mixing fatty acid, 1-600 pts.wt. of at least one kind selected from among protein feed, amino acid and vitamins, and 5-50 pts.wt. of metal oxide and/or metallic hydroxide based on 100 pts.wt. of the fatty acid together using an extruder having at least a raw material-supplying belt area, a kneading/reaction belt area and a cooling belt area so as to make them react with one another.
