Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time when a comparison output returns to a stationary initial value for the next comparison processing in a CMOS (Complementary Mental-oxide Semiconductor) image sensor adopting a single slope integrated AD conversion system. SOLUTION: An initializing part 340 for setting a comparison output of a voltage comparing part 252 in a compulsion initial value Comp_sw in an inactive state ahead of comparison processing for AD conversion is provided. The initializing part 340 is provided with a switch transistor 342 controlled on the basis of an initialization control pulse Pini. For example, a comparison output is set to a compulsion initial value Comp_sw close to the stationary initial value Comp_ini ahead of comparison processing about a signal level in a pixel signal or ahead of comparison processing about a reset level.
