Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a system which has a plurality of server modules of a blade server system etc., and a network switch mounted and integrated can not speedily detect a fault of a network by a network fault recognizing method using a time-out and further the problem that a system having network paths multiplexed has a longer time up to switching to a standby network since processing for switching from a main system network path to a standby system is performed after a network fault is recognized from time-out occurrence. SOLUTION: In a port link state detecting method of the blade server system according to the present invention, the network switch has output signals indicating link-up/down state information of respective ports, they are connected to a link detection signal input of a connection-destination network controller, which is made to directly detect a link state of a network switch port.
