HOT-WATER DISINFECTING APPARATUS FOR RICE SEED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfecting apparatus for rice seeds capable of affording effective utilization of a space in a building and improving efficiency in operation of an operator by maintaining an operation region of operation to pack the rice seeds into a rice seed container and operation to drain the rice seeds after completing hot-water disinfection and further carry out the rice seeds from the rice seed container at the same position. SOLUTION: The hot-water disinfecting apparatus 1 for the rice seeds is composed of a hot water tank 2 for dipping the rice seeds in hot water, a cold water tank 3 for dipping the rice seeds dipped in the hot water in cold water, the water-permeable rice seed container 4 for housing the rice seeds and an automatic transporting apparatus 5 for hanging the rice seed container 4, lifting, lowering and moving the rice seed container 4. The hot water tank 2 is installed in one side and the operation region 6 is arranged in the other while sandwiching the cold water tank 3. The automatic transporting apparatus 5 has control functions to hang the rice seed container 4 in the operation region 6, move the rice seed container 4 to the terminal end of a series of treating system equipment 9, then lift, lower and move the rice seed container 4 in the order of the hot-water dipping treatment with the hot water tank 2, the cooling treatment with the cold water tank 3 and a returning step to the operation region 6.
