Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform light wavelength conversion with satisfactory characteristics without receiving the influence of a photorefractive effect even in the case of the occurrence of such effect. SOLUTION: The wavelength of the basic light outputted from an LD1 is controlled to a specified wavelength by the temperature control using an ATC4 and the temperature control, and the temperature control for changing the temperature of an SHG element 2 is performed so as to make compensation for the change in the phase matching wavelength based on the refractive index change generated within the SHG element 2 and thereby the phase matching condition is constantly satisfied.
