FUEL INJECTION VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufacturable and low-cost fuel injection valve capable of stably generating cavitation in a fuel disturbance passage. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection valve having a nozzle body 10 in a bottomed cylinder shape having a plurality of injection holes 11a and a valve seat part 12 positioned near them and a needle 20 having a valve element part 21 seated at the valve seat part 12 and stored in the nozzle body 10 in a manner capable of displacing in an axial direction, a fuel passage 30 for providing fuel between the nozzle body 10 and a needle 20. The needle 20 has a protruding part 26 for protruding radially outward from its outer circumference surface so that flow of the fuel is disturbed by the protruding part 26 in the fuel passage 30. Preferably, the protruding part 26 is formed in an annular shape apart from a tapered surface 21a of the valve element part 21 in the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
