MAILBOX AND MAIL COLLECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox which does not cause harmful effects due to foreign matters by configuring it so as not to accumulate inside the mailbox the foreign matters to cause the harmful effects when accumulated inside the mailbox. SOLUTION: The mailbox 100 comprises: a housing 1; a mail housing part 2 provided inside the housing 1; a posting port 5 provided on the housing 1; a door 4 for taking out mail; a foreign matter discharge port 7 provided on the housing 1; an outer lid 5 disposed on the back side of the posting port 5 and operated to open the posting port when posting the mail and the foreign matter; an inner lid 6 operated by the mail posted to the posting port 5 to guide the mail to the mail housing part 2; and a trash chute 8 extended downward from a space formed between the outer lid 5 and the inner lid 6 and communicated with the foreign matter discharge port 7.
