Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully demonstrate the functions, even at low temperatures in a dilution apparatus for exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The dilution apparatus for exhaust gas 20 contains a dilution container 40, provided with an exhaust gas introduction pipe 50 and a gas for dilution inlet 60, and the surrounding of the dilution vessel 40 is covered by outside perimeter insulating material 22, with one side end surface by an insulating material 24 and other side end surface by an insulating material 26. In addition, a pipe 80, etc., is provided as a heat-transmitting member between the gas for dilution introduction pipe 60 and the exhaust gas inlet pipe 50. Oxidation gas 6 which is the gas for dilution is blown directly towards the exhaust gas inlet pipe 50 from the pipe 80. Furthermore, a plurality of partition members 90 are provided inside the dilution container 40 and communicating windows 92 for the gas for flowing through are gradually installed along the direction of the flow of the gas from the axial center side to the outer perimeter side.
