SOLUTION: Unfixed toner images T are formed on a recording material P formed such that toner receiving layers B are spread all over the surface of the substrate A of a recording material. The unfixed toner images T are cooled, separated, and fixed. This makes it possible to obtain a new image output having partial gloss differences within the surface of the recording material such that high gloss images D are formed in an area where the toner receiving layer B is present while low gloss images C are formed in an area where the toner receiving layer B is not present.
