Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single sensor type indentation test system due to an indentation testing machine constituted by more simplifying the structure of the testing machine by replacing displacement with the number of pulses and calibrating the displacement to compensate the displacement. SOLUTION: The single sensor type indentation test system is equipped with the indenter 14 pressed to a test piece S, the load means connected to the indenter 14 to apply load to the test piece S, a load sensor 12 for detecting the load quantity of the test piece S and a computer 18 being an arithmetic means for operating the Young's modulus of the test piece S on the basis of the load means and the load sensor 12, and the load means is formed of a load applying type stepping motor 5. When the Young's modulus of the test piece S is measured on the basis of load-displacement, the quantity δ of displacement is replaced with the number of output pulses to the stepping motor 5. The elastic deformation quantity of the testing machine is calculated by a calibrating test piece. The indentation test of the indenter 14 is performed with respect to the test piece S to calculate the Young's modulus of the test piece S on the basis of the indentation quantity and elastic recovery in the maximum load.
