MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DECORATIVE RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a decorative resin molded article which can simultaneously perform the molding and a surface decoration of the resin molded article, and eliminate the displacement of the decorative sheet. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the decorative resin molded article includes forming feed holes at both width end parts of the decorative sheet 10 with prescribed intervals toward the longitudinal direction of the sheet, sequentially engaging feed gears provided on both sides of a feed roll 17 and a take-up roll 19 with the respective feed holes to feed the sheet, and laying the decorative sheet while positioning it in a cavity between a pair of molds. When laying the decorative sheet fed from the feed roll to the pair of molds, the displacement of decorative patterns such as printing patterns of the decorative sheet does not occur, and a stable resin molded articles having good yield can always be obtained. Since molding of the resin molded article and an integrated affixing step of the decorative sheet to the surface of the resin molded article are simultaneously performed, the number of steps can be reduced, and productivity and cost reduction can be achieved.
