CONVEYANCE AMOUNT CORRECTION EVALUATING METHOD, CONVEYANCE AMOUNT CORRECTION EVALUATING DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the correction result at conveying a medium by making the correction of a target conveyance amount using the correction value for correcting the conveyance error of DC component. SOLUTION: A conveyance amount correction evaluating method includes the step of making a head record a pattern for checking the conveyance amount of the medium while conveying the medium to the head in the conveyance direction by rotating a roller according to the target conveyance amount used as a target, the step of calculating the correction value corresponding to the relative position of the head and the medium from the checking pattern, the step of conveying the medium from the recording position of the 1st pattern by the amount corresponding to one round of the roller while correcting the target conveyance amount using the correction value corresponding to the relative position and of making the head record the 2nd pattern and the step of evaluating the result of the target conveyance amount correction made with the correction value.
