Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables washing removal of high-adhesion liquid dregs on the surface of a laser-engraved printing plate in a short time by a simple processes. SOLUTION: The method is provided for washing away engraving dregs left on the surface of the laser-engraved printing plate having an indentation pattern formed by a laser-engraving method, wherein the surface of a laser-engraving printing original plate having at least one layer containing a photosensitive resin composition is irradiated with laser light and a cured photosensitive resin in the irradiated portion is removed. The washing method comprises (i) the process of bringing the surface of the laser-engraved printing plate and a water-based washing fluid into contact with each other and (ii) the process of bringing the surface of the laser-engraved printing plate and a porous organic body into contact with each other.
