LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a fluorescent lamp surely and make the fluorescent lamp and a lamp socket attachable and detachable easily in a luminaire. SOLUTION: The luminaire 1 includes the fluorescent lamp 10 with a fluorescent tube 11 and a base part 14 in which a lamp pin 12 is erected and installed on the base body 13 stuck to the main light-emitting face of the fluorescent tube 11, and the lamp socket 20 with an electrode part 21 into which the lamp pin 12 is inserted and a retaining part 22 to retain the base body 13, and the fluorescent lamp 10 is removable from the lamp socket 20. The base body 13 includes a protrusion 15 for locking which extends almost in parallel with the lamp pin 12 and has a nearly columnar head part 15a. The retaining part 22 consists of a pair of elastic members for elastically retaining the head part 15, and includes a pair of arcs 22a curved to the outside and a guide part 22b which continuously contacts the arcs 22a and extends to the outside on one end of the side to receive the base body 13.
