Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a mainspring material using a carbon nanotube and a method of manufacturing a mainspring and improve reliability, achieve compactness, and facilitate manufacturing in a hairspring used as a power source and a drive device and an apparatus provided with the same. SOLUTION: The hairspring is constituted of a compound material of graphite, amorphous carbon, and a carbon nanotube. The compound material of the mainspring can achieve high tensile strength and a low young's modulus and provide a hairspring which is compact and accurate in speed adjustment. By uniformly dispersing graphite, amorphous carbon, and a carbon nanotube in a medium and molding by extrusion molding or the like, it is possible to easily manufacture hairspring of uniform quality.
