Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a mainspring material using a carbon nanotube and a method of manufacturing a mainspring and improve reliability, achieve compactness, and facilitate manufacturing in a mainspring used as a power source and a drive device and an apparatus with the same. SOLUTION: The mainspring is constituted of a compound material of graphite, amorphous carbon, and a carbon nanotube. The compound material of the mainspring can achieve high tensile strength and a low young's modulus and provide a mainspring which is compact and can operate for a long time. By uniformly dispersing graphite, amorphous carbon, and a carbon nanotube in a medium and molding by extrusion molding or the like, it is possible to easily manufacture mainsprings of uniform quality.
