Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily producing calcium carbonate having high whiteness usable as filler for paper making or a pigment for paper to be coated in the production of the calcium carbonate from lime sludge produced by causticizing green liquor obtained in a kraft process pulp manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The method of producing calcium carbonate from lime sludge produced by causticizing the green liquor obtained in a kraft process pulp manufacturing process includes a floatation process for separating impurities from the lime sludge.
