MACHINE FOR PREPARING BULB VEGETABLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for preparing bulb vegetables provided with "a root-extending part" as a root-alignment means with which roots of bulb vegetables can be reliably caught and aligned, and effectively taking off husks and the like attaching to the substantial part of the vegetable. SOLUTION: The machine for preparing bulb vegetables is provided with a conveying part conveying bulb vegetables (onion 6), a cutting part cutting off the roots and leaves from the onion 6, and a root extending part 4 nipping the roots and extending the root at the front of the cutting part.
