COUPLED MULTIBAND ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna having an antenna structure in a reduced size for performing broadband operation and/or multiband operation. SOLUTION: The present invention comprises an antenna including at least two radiation structures (110, 111)(100, 113), each of the radiation structure takes a form of two arms made of conductor, superconductor or semiconductor materials and the two arms are mutually coupled via regions (200, 201) on first and second arms. According to the present invention, two radiation arms are coupled by forming and spatially arranging the two arms, wherein the arms are disposed while being at least partially proximate (108, 109) to each other and an electromagnetic field in one part is allowed to be transmitted to the other arm via a specific proximate region. The proximate region is positioned away from a power feeding port of the antenna just by a prescribed distance and in particular, the power feeding port of the antenna is excluded from the proximate region.
